McGavick supports staying in Iraq as long as it takes. Cantwell supports getting out, beginning now.

Cantwell is solidly pro-choice. McGavick is pro-life.

Cantwell is pro- gay rights. McGavick isn't.

Cantwell has worked to protect the Alaskan Wilderness. McGavick is on the side of Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska, who wants to open the Wildlife Refuge up to oil drilling. McGavick is being funded by the mining industry -- who have given Cantwell no support at all.

Washington is a divided state, split down the middle between Democrats and Republicans. No candidate who met your purity test would be able to carry the whole state. Cantwell is doing a good job and we should all support her.

The alternative -- losing another Democratic slot in the Senate, and to a sleeze like McGavick -- is too terrible to contemplate.
