79. Fair and Reasonable?
From the column in question:

"Dean should be bound and gagged ... well, gagged anyway."

This is fair and reasonable? By what standard? Rush's? Karl Rove's?

From the column in question:

"The upshot of the year is this: With more than three years of his term still to run and a mountain of problems to face, Bush has lost the confidence and the trust of the country. Even Democrats must realize this is not a good thing. Like him or not, Bush is the face we put forward as a nation to the rest of the world. And if he can't lead, someone else in some other country, like China, or a collection of countries that don't have our interests at heart, such as the European Union, will lead."

This is a DLC position. "We should all love chimpie, because he's the only president we've got" I'm old enough to remember LBJ saying something very similar. Remember that gleam in my father's eye, you speak of with such reckless abandonment.

I'll tell you what, Kahuna, you and I should put each other on the ignore list. I want no further truck with you.
