Even though good things are happening here, and I guess part of the proof is that people elsewhere are hearing the specific noise we're making here, there is still plenty of people who seem to be asleep about election conditions. Many people who begin to hear truth when listening to talk about the overall national situation, still come back to "it can't happen here," which only comes from "well I haven't heard of any problems here so things must be OK." Now I think the GAO report and the SoS report, which we should have used more effectively sooner, are giving us air tight cases and perfect means to frame the matter that connects local conditions to the big picture. Think global, act local, right? Get that same model happening in lots of towns. It's been the plan all along. Check out:
