Dennis Kucinich,, Lynn Woolsey and Ron Paul recognized as American Heroes

A roomful of people and kids at the Patrick Henry Democratic Club meeting tonight voted unanimously to recognize Dennis Kucinich, Lynn Woolsey and Ron Paul as American Heroes. Dennis was recognized for his re-introduction of the Department of Peace legislation. Lynn Woolsey was recognized for H Con Res 35, calling for a withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

Ron Paul, a Republican, was recognized for voting against the Iraq Appropriations Bill, against the Faith Based Jobs Bill and against the Real ID Act. Ron Paul's voting record is more pro-Democrat than that of Pelosi and many other Democrats. Ron Paul was also the one who alerted people to the dangers of PATRIOT II (the Intelligence Reform Act). Wonder if he can be convinced to switch parties.
