Here's the deal. Every one of these people could be gay, and even be closeted and that's ok. It's even ok that they're conservatives. Pefectly fine. My issue with Gannon is not that he's gay, or closeted, but that he 1) Is/was a member of the Whitehouse press corps, despite going under an assumed name (verboten) while having ZERO qualifications and 2) that a WH reporter would have a tawdry escort service on the side.

The only time I think it is fair to criticize a closeted gay republican (CGR) for being a CGR is when they are vocally anti-gay or work against equal rights for GLBTers. I realize this is a fine line and can be difficult for people to understand, but I think it's an important one.
