200. Wisconsin
No way this state's going red!

I read something over the weekend that voter turnout in Milwaukee County will be in the 80-85% range. I couldn't believe it! I certainly hope so.

Keep in mind that Milwaukee County is the largest county in the state. It is also very Dem-leaning, with a heavy black population. And a black population that carried a 98% vote for Gore in 2000. Add to that a semi-challenging senate race with the popular Russ Feingold (where his competitor, who barely stands a chance, has been running lots of attack ads). And there's the opportunity to elect the first black representative ever from Milwaukee County (Gwen Moore).

This is a state that Gore won by only a few thousand votes. And Dems are much more motivated this year than in 2000 (where there was a lot of apathy). I'll be shocked if Wisconsin turns to the dark side this year.
