I just discovered that Whole Foods has "forums" on its Web site ( http://wholefoodsmarket.com/forums ).

So here's what I surreptitiously posted there just now, hidden in the "Favorite Recipe Swap" forum. To lengthen the amount of time before they kick me off, I decided to offer a real-sounding recipe for edamame salad--but what I actually outline in my post is the "recipe for disaster" that Whole Foods CEO John Mackey offered in his right-wing op-ed on "Obama Care." Please add your comments to my post--using innocuous post responses like "Sounds great!" or "I'll try that one!" Or post your own "recipe"!

The recipe for disaster that Whole Foods co-founder and CEO John Mackey wrote in yesterday's Wall Street Journal, titled "The Whole Foods Alternative to ObamaCare." Read for yourself, the right-wing talking points Mackey offers against "socialized" medicine and for pro-insurance-industry canards. (That's duck, in French!)

This is why I and all my friends and colleagues will, alas, no longer be shopping at Whole Foods. You may want to consider the same course of action.
