21. Once again, with feeling, the polls after 9/1/04 are no longer accurate
measurements because they only count people who have voted in the last 4 presidential elections, and don't include peoplel with cell phones.

No young people are being polled. No newly registered voters are being polled. If you voted in 92 and 96 and didn't vote in 2000, you're not counted.

It's not an accurate measure by any account. The fact that Kerry is polling even under these limitations is actually great news for Democrats.

Remember, Bush was leading by 10 points before election day in 2000, by this same restrictive polls.

The polling BEFORE 9/1/04 did include registered voters, regardless of voting likelihood. Kerry's numbers went down immediately after the Republican convention because that's when the polling demographics changed.
