built up a thick skin, I imagine. John McCain's disregard for him was representative of many other peoples' disregard, and that disregard must be something Sen. Obama is well aware of and well-equipped to handle.

I don't think it was hard for him. He's very smart and knows what he's doing. I think it was hard for many, many people watching it play out on that stage. If that hurts, it's a good thing. It's all the more reason to ensure Sen. Obama becomes President-elect Obama this year.
