What a pity that racism and sexism have become the buzz words for the issues in the Democratic Presidential Primary. Of all the things I thought would be on the agenda, like the War in Iraq, the failing U. S. economy, the loss of personal freedoms, our faltering educational system, torturing political prisoners, skyrocketing energy prices, and a multitude of other woes brought on by the ineptitude of the Cheney and Co. terror mongers, I never thought we'd be wrapped up in two innate characteristics of our party's candidates over which they have absolute no control. If all we can focus on are an individual's biological traits instead of what really threatens us, maybe the repugnantcans aren't so bad after all.

You be the judge. Should we call a halt to attacking on grounds of race and gender and start thinking about how we're gonna help this country get out of this horrible mess?
