25. Now, see, that's not particularly helpful.
I'm not crazy about Hillary Clinton, for the most part because I don't think the US should have political dynasties (BushClintonBushClinton...), but also because of her voting for the Iraq War Resolution and for keeping land mines and cluster bombs. On the other hand, I'm not crazy about Barack Obama either, because he voted to confirm Condoleezza Rice for reasons I assume have more to do with racial solidarity than any merit on her part. And there's the McClurkin ex-gay millstone around his neck as well. Other than that, either candidate is far superior to some superannuated, hot-headed warmonger.

Let me put it this way: if gay and lesbian Americans are prepared to find themselves yet again under the bus and vote for a candidate who considers gays and lesbians to be second-class citizens and thus not deserving of equal marriage rights -- unlike, say, Dennis Kucinich, who is in favour -- then I think you can easily hold your nose (rather than cutting it off to spite Hillary's face) and vote for whichever nominee the party decides on.
