25. No. Hillary lost blacks on her own.
When Obama first came out, we didn't give him the time of the day. I still remember listening to the morning shows debate whether he was "black" enough. So the appearance of a "brotha" on the scene did not magically cause all blacks to fall in line behind him. If Obama wasn't as dynamic as he is, his candidacy would have petered out without a black majority (or white support for that matter).

It was only after Obama started winning and we started paying attention to his message, that more and more African Americans started viewing him as a viable candidate. But, most blacks were still loyal to the Clintons.

And then Hillary and her surrogates lost their mind, forcing a huge majority of the black support she had left towards Obama.

Obama has always worked very hard to try and make everyone "forget" he was black. You have never heard him say, "Vote for me, the first Black president". Being "black" is not an advantage in a presidential race. And Hillary and her surrogates attempts to turn him into Jesse Jackson II (as another poster put it) is really pissing me off.
