...last evening I had an interesting conversation with one of my Repubbie pals ~~ white female in her mid-50s. She knows I am politically active and I am a Dem and very liberal. At the time of the Calif primary, she and I discussed who she was voting for ~~ she voted Romney because she disliked McCain very much. She also at that time expressed absolute dislike ~~ more like hatred ~~ of Hillary and expressed a negative opinion of Obama, but I would call it more dislike than hate. I figured like many Pubbies have, she would come around to McCain since he got the Pubbie nom and I could chalk her off as a vote, or even a potential vote, for Obama in the GE.

Well, she was all smiles last night...and made a remark about the Mississippi primary and how nice Obama had won again. She actually likes him now. Surprise of my life. She came over after listening to him a bit and liking what he had to say...but...one of the deals with her was that he cannot be all bad if Hillary hates him that much!

So...maybe in that pile of racist shit coming out of the Clinton campaign...there might be some results they never saw or intended. My most Pubbie pal is now pretty much in the Obama camp.
