MI and FL are going to rip us apart! We need to step back a moment.

I have a very very very bad feeling about what is going to happen to this party if FL and MI becomes front and center in the news.
It will be like Florida 2000 all over again, except its Dem vs Dem. This will NOT look good for us. We will have no voice or unity.
We have major party players on both sides chomping at the bit over this. I do not have an answer, But we should sit down and figure this out
before we do major damage to our party. While we fight this problem out, McCain is saving money, getting a ground game together and getting for free
what he would normally be spending money on (dems looking bad).

I can just see it now, Lawyers - Protests - The media frenzy - God help us all.

Our message will be clouded, and it will make our party look shady - regardless of who wins our nomination.
People will be bitter and angry and not want to GOTV or even vote themselves.

I'm a Obama supporter but a Democrat FIRST. What good will it do if we have some brokered convention or if people feel cheated (on either side).

At the end of the day - none of our candidates will have enough delegates to win the nomination. This problem WILL come to a head.
We have a real opportunity to deal with now before there is no going back.
Once things are set in motion to fight this out in the court system and within the party - we are going to be kicking ourselves later with McCain in office.

I really really fear this is a true possibility.
