You think that what John Edwards accomplished as an attorney was important. I can't disagree but I happen to think that what Obama did as a community organizer is important too. You trivialized his GOTV efforts, but the fact is that he registered 150,000 voters in Chicago. What he did was considered a big factor in the election of Carol Mosely Braun to the Senate.

Did you also know that he was endorsed by 85 of the attorneys who are representing detainees at Gitmo? They feel that his proactive stance on restoring habeas corpus and his experience as a Constitutional scholar warranted their recommendation. Granted, it's probably not something he could boast about in public, but I give it a lot of weight. I'm kinda concerned about the Constitution. Speaking of which, both Clinton and Edwards voted for the Patriot Act.
