Mowen says he would work against exceptions being made for the victims of rape and incest but would be reasonable.

Mowen has won some key endorsements, including one from the Chicago Tribune and one from the Illinois Federation of Right for Life. He also has raised the most money, $88,000 through the end of last year, and reported nearly $21,000 in the bank.

He believes abortion should be outlawed unless the mother’s life is in danger and that too often the impact of abortion is hidden from the public.

“Let’s face it, women are created basically to give birth. Abortion is everything against that. There are real and true psychological consequences and issues many, many times with abortion. You never hear that,” he said.

Mr. Mowen with his child and Baby Maker!

I believe the local paper needs to hear DUer's thoughts on these comments.
