As i've made known here, I think a filibuster that can't succeed is a mistake. 41 votes won't do it. We need 51 or there will be a rules change. It has nothing to do with predicting the future it has to do with understanding the situation. Alito is a conservative wet dream , they will not allow a filibuster.

If they're going to accuse the Republicans of election fraud the evidence had better be convincing and rock solid. Tipping their hand before they have this information would be stupid.

There is no need for us to politicize Katrina. The negative attention this administration has received because of this debacle was amazing and it still continues.

Terry Schaivo Dems? What are those? Again , the amount damage done to the republicans because of this issue was huge.

It would be a HUGE mistake for us to play politics with any of these issues at this time. When your enemy is in the process of destroying himself it's better to just stand aside and allow him to do it.

The Democrats are doing well. Polls show that Americans are mush more likely to vote for a Dem then a Repug this November. They want to put the brakes on this administration. If we can stop them without firing a shot (although we have been firing many , and they have been hitting home) all the better.
