George may want to know that detail. Not because he likes chickens, but because he will probably pass such information on to his friends in the agribusiness corporations ... after all, out of all the things the NSA will learn by spying on Americans, the vast majority of the data will be completely irrelevant for security or even plain ol' domestic crime ... but it is the kind of thing which big business would get some mileage out of.

While we're discussing poultry -- to save the trouble of the NSA opening a new file -- I cleaned out my tabletop incubator today, oiled the automatic turning gear, and tried to decide whether I should hatch chickens or ducks for my next clutch. If chickens, Jersey Giants or Australops? Or get away from dual-purpose chicks altogether and try Danish Brown Leghorns (layers)? Perhaps wiretapping operatives could advise?
