This stuff is reemerging now because of the imminent danger of a major war breaking out with Iran. The Europeans are against it, the Russians and Chinese are against it. Not sure about the Saudis, but they're split on every issue. Every side has intelligence agencies with miles and miles of files on stuff like this.

Any one of them can "go nuclear" with sex scandals involving each others leaders at any time. In fact, that may signal the real thing.
