the NRA sold you the confiscation in New Orleans. Did you know the guns picked up were, for the most part, unsecured in damaged unprotected homes? Did you also know that every single legal owner got their gun back? As a gun owner who has fled oncoming disasters, i..e. hurricanes I would love to know law enforcement secured my dangerous property.
Tell me, did you like it when the Mormon Church tried to sway elections in California? Do you like it when the NRA tries to tell a city with a crime problem what to do?
There, you have my "peep". Part of what you guys scream for, states rights" is OK when the state wants guns. Search for gungion posts on Montana and it's attempts to separate itself from federal law. You are all for that. When the state wants to regulate guns you want federal involvement including the NRA. State rights when it suits your agenda and federal support when it doesn't.
