You have been brainwashed by a bullshit poll, funded by a biased group.

Maine Mary and many others have been kind enough to point out to you that, a huge majority swing on this vote, but you refuse to realize the truth.

You think that only "real" Democrats feel the way you do, which is where you keep failing on the “majority” issue. There is a huge portion of the Democratic party that are pro-RKBA.

No, you will not see them on this forum, for many reasons, but the fact remains that they are out there, and not being “real” by your standards, does not change the fact that they will swing on this issue.

In fact, the emotionally charged screaming, spinning and stereotyping of guns and gun owners by the hoplophobics causes many RKBA Democrats to “stray” in order to avoid the association with these “Democrat” groups.

Deer Park Texas is a town of approx 29,000 people, 90% of the people work in the oil refineries on the Houston ship channel. These are union workers, and have always been hard line Democratic voters.
In 2000, they voted for Bush to the tune of 90%!

My mother volunteers for the Harris County Democratic Party, and after the election, everyone was amazed that Bush carried that area with such a huge margin.

In later meetings of the Harris County Democratic Party, the majority opinion attributed it to the voters unwillingness to vote for a candidate that was anti-RKBA.

You need to realize that *your* opinion is not the sole reflection of the Democratic party as you would like to infer, but in actuality a minority opinion of the party as a whole.

You can claim anything you want, dismiss anything with peddle, hooey, rubbish, etc, but the fact remains, your cause, while noble, is a detriment to the party.
