SunRun Solar Finance Company Accused of Working to Undermine PACE Program
Advertisements [?]
Lobbyists are out to try and bring down the Property Assessed Clean Energy program, and a solar financing company has been accused of aiding the cause:

SunRun, a solar financing company that aids homeowners with their home solar installations, has been accused of working to undermine the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program which would make public funding available for similar projects.

In his blog at the Huffington Post and StarkReports.com, journalist Mike Stark writes about his investigation into SunRun's "rogue" efforts to hobble the PACE program. Stark alleges that SunRun is working against the best interests of the solar industry at large in order to solidify its own profit potential in lending money to homeowners for clean energy projects -- without having to compete with the publicly-financed PACE program.
