4. Unless one engages distortions, one can see that the capacity utilization of nuclear power in the US
and around the world is the highest of any known form of electrical generation 90%, nine times more reliable than solar (10% as measured in Switzerland, Germany and Massachusets), almost 4 times as reliable as wind (25% measured from EIA output/rated capacity data), and more reliable than the industries that support the solar and wind fantasy as a red herring for their continued operations, the coal fired electricity (72%, again from EIA data), gas (less than 50% but designed in most places except in renewable fantasy lands like Maine and California, to be so) and oil (see gas).

Still we have anti-nukes with their strange take on something called reality, trying to represent that this temporary shut down is a vast tragedy.

This reminds me of the time stupid anti-nukes wrote a long hysterical scare piece on another website about the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power plant in Japan, claiming that an earthquake there justified a long nutcase hysteria blog entitled "Situation Grave at Japanese Nuclear Power Plant after Earthquake." I'd link it but it was deleted by its author possibly because there were no nuclear related injuries at the plant. Zero. A failure to delete the long garbage blog, would have opened up a great case study in the oil and gas funded anti-nuke industry's mind set.

All of the loss of life from the earthquake resulted from falling buildings in nearby towns. Anti-nukes never argue for a building phase out however.

The reactors are now all restarted and functioning fine after repairing some damage to the plant.

Have a nice delusional day.
