Rebellion thread - part rant, part serious

I've about had it.

Many Dems in the Senate are voting for the torture czar. They are not voting to uphold democratic values. Once in office, they are no longer accountable to the people.

Half the country is populated by apathetic, brain-dead, Kool-aide drinking fundies.

The majority of Minnesotans approve of *'s leadership (poll published today), the majority of Minnesotans also support *'s Social Security privatization scheme (poll published yesterday).

Minnesota's funding for education has dropped below the national average thanks to our new *-a$$-licker governor who after decimating our public schools, is now taking aim at health care. He wants to drop 40,000 elderly and working poor from our sliding fee state health care program.

When a progressive state like Minnesota falls to the gutter, our democracy is in a coma if not already dead.

Rebellion anyone?
Protests, yeah. Let's keep going.
Phone calls, emails and faxes to elected officials. Yes, they've had an impact.

But we need to disrupt the system.

We need strict boycotts of any companies that supported * and the Rethugs and that advertise on our enemy, the MSM. We need to boycott and picket them.

We need to pay as few taxes as we can. Taxes are not being directed to programs that serve the people through education and health care and retirement. Our tax dollars are going increasingly toward lining the pockets of the corporations that are now in control of our government.

Initiate the paperwork for conscientious objector status, no matter your gender or your age. Let the * supporters fight the wars.

Any other ideas?
