I won't eat/drink pancake syrup. It might be my New England rearing, but anyone who isn't using straight maple syrup has no reason to eat pancakes!! (harumph, harumph!)




edited to add: Other members of my family do eat pancake syrup, because they eat pancakes almost every day. I might have pancakes once a month or so, so I splurge for the maple syrup--it will last for 6 months or more for me. :)
