What was life like in the sixties? I'm 41 so...

I kinda know what life was like in the seventies - computers were the stuff of science fiction and banks, all phones had rotary dial, the music was good, but AM radio was not (although better than AM radio today), The Beatles were still revered, and there was always hope of a reunion, disco was either loved or hated, macrame bags were everywhere, porn existed, but was grainy, cars were big, as were the lines at gas stations, bell bottoms were not as common as they were on "That 70's Show" but longer hair was.
