15. Unfortunately in L.A. it makes a difference. My Nissan,
which I absolutely adored, was totaled two weeks ago. I rented a little Chevrolet which I actually like. The insurance companies are fighting it out regarding who was at fault. In the meantime, I'm in limbo. I have no idea how much I'll be able to spend on my next one so I may end up in an American car which will bum me out since they don't age well and normally aren't made well which would mean auto repairs down the road (no pun intended). This post prompts me to start a post regarding which American cars have a good reputation. I joined Consumer Reports on-line and they say FORDS are the best but I've had FORDS in my earlier years and they were crap.
