60. Of course. A child isn't a pet. A cat is. Allowing either to run loose is a mistake.

The lesson is simple: Don't let your pets run loose. Animals tangle. Cat owners certainly don't give a damn when their unkept cats roam the neighborhood, killing birds, lizards, and squirrels that are happily playing in someone else's yard.

I realize cat people tend to think of their cats as children, but they're not. They're cats. And when they're in the yard of someone else, they're an annoyance, and sometimes they're killers.
