13. get thee to a neurologist.
it isn't that your arm hurts, it's that the nerve that serves your arm is being pinched. i had this happen to me last september. by the time i got surgery in january, the pain had completely taken over my life. i had 2 herniated discs.
the surgery did mostly fix it, but probably because it took so long to get in, i still have a couple of "issues". all in all, tho, they are minor, and i am back in control of my life, or at least what passes for control in my world.
was there a radiologists report with these pics? i find it kind of amazing that they would just give you these pics.
if you can make your own appointments, find a good neurosurgeon. it is scary, but you can trudge along until you can't stand it any more, then get it done. or you can get it done now, and feel better now, and have less permanent damage.
seems to be as common as mud these days for people's discs to decompose. i worry for the future of our planet. can't help get all tinfoily when i think of how many people i know who are coming apart at the seams.
