I'm vindictive like that, though. Plus, weren't the Yanks up in the 9th with Rivera on the mound? look at this lineup of Dbacks hitters: Mark Grace, David Delucci, Jay Bell, Damien Miller, Tony Womack, Craig Counsel, Luis Gonzalez... Is there more than 2 HOFers on that list? I admit that Gonzo had a career year and Gracie was solid, but who else? Rivera at that point had a 0.70 postseason ERA-- an all-time best. Big time choke from the entire Yankees defense.
