I did toy with the idea of calling Jr's pediatrician, but they're firm believers in being as "hands off" as possible and letting kids heal on their own for mild things like this. Come to think of it, about a year ago he had something similar--couldn't handle milk products for an entire month after the harshest part of the illness--so they'd likely treat it the same way--"just give it time" etc.
