99. That's one hypothesis, that places can somehow store "feelings."
I'm not sure if I believe it or not, as I tend to reject Aristotelian Essentialism (which basically says that things can contain some intangible defining quality, or "essence," such as the notion that a blessed cracker really IS the flesh of Christ, even though it appears to be just a cracker in all testable ways, because the Priest has changed its essence), but there may be some obscure factor triggering the feeling. There is also the possibility that location was incidental and that the feeling came from something happening within you or even with your parents that you detected without realizing it. Human emotions are biochemical and can be smelled, though most people aren't sensitive enough to detect them or aren't aware of what they're smelling even if they are.
