27. I talked to an Indian taxi driver in London who referred to himself as "black"
He was a young guy, nice-looking, telling me how he got pulled over when visiting a friend in a white neighborhood, and he asked the constable, "Is it because I'm black?"

I had to ask him to repeat it. No one in the US would ever refer to him as black.

Sad that "Driving While Indian" gets you pulled over in London like "Driving While Black" does here.
