We are so lucky to have some nice home grown groups here in Texas. Wyndnwyre as meantion above is good. I also like Clandestine but they broke up. I like Mary O'Hara, Loreena McKennitt, the Wolftones, the Chieftans, Battlefield Band, and many small indi singers and bands (I am not at home so I don't have access to my collection). If you do go to a venue, please buy the CD's. They are usually what funds the band's road trips. Go to their web sites and support these folks.

Hubby plays the sitar and does Indian Classical and I support the arts (I married him :spray: ). He does it for love and not much money as many of these folks. Help keep these folks going.
