39. One of my best friends in the world is a cop

NYPD Sergeant. Huge dork. He's the one that got me into Buffy & Angel, and we regularly got together to geek out over Dune.

He used to have a Pokeball on the dashboard of his squad car, before he got promoted, and one time he arrested this guy for disorderly conduct (this is when he was still working Central Park). The guy decided to be a smart ass and go "oh, what, do you have Pikachu in there?"

My buddy turns around, looks him in dead in the eye, and says, "what are you, fucking stupid? Pikachu never goes in the ball!" :rofl:

God I miss him.
