Status Quo is huge everywhere in the world except the US, where pretty much nobody knows who they are. Which is odd, because their music is blues-based and repetitive, which I would think would be more appealing to Americans.

TISM is big in Australia, but nowhere else. Performers of the legendary "(He'll Never Be An) Ol' Man River," with the classic refrain of "I'm on the drug, I'm on the drug, I'm on the drug that killed River Phoenix."

Stuart Davis is one of the greatest singer/songwriters ever. Sort of an acoustic punk/folk/Buddhism kind of thing. www.stuartdavis.com

Same with Jim Boggia. Very clever, and when playing live, seems to know EVERY pop song ever written. www.jimboggia.com
