29. That makes sense
I've probably read somewhere that everything n a dream is manifested by the dreamer. I just never consider any of it. In the few dreams I recall, I'm always aware of 'me' and everything else is 'not me'

I always feel like a spectator, even when I'm vaguely aware that 'me' the dreamer makes a choice. Like go through a door, or up a flight of stairs. It's never 'me' that decides that, I just notice the going up the stairs rather than through the door.

Having said that, I do know the difference between dreams where, for instance, I'm searching for <something> vs dreams where I'm just watching things unfold. I'm a detached searcher... I wonder if I'll find what I'm looking for, and if I'll recognize it if I do. :)

Waking life is kind of like that too. I kind of stumble around, distracted by the next shiny thing. Some times it's an idea I want to understand better, and I delve into that; other times I get distracted by a new, different shiny thing half-way through delving into understanding the last new shiny thing. :D
