Did Kate Bosworth ruin "Superman Returns" for anyone else?

I thought Superman Returns was almost as accomplished an adaptation as Nolan's utterly transcendental Batman Begins, but Bosworth really sunders the experience.

How disappointing that Singer not only recruited a girl who was barely out of her teens to assay the role of a 30-35 year old woman, (that WAS Margot Kidder's character, five years later) but that said choice radiated all the spirit of a sloth.

When you search for one who would serve as the adoration of a demigod, choose wisely.
