I had a car accident on the ice today...with injury

I live on a hill where every way down is very steep. I saw the huge ice patch coming so I slowed way down, but the ice was on a slope and as soon as I hit it, my heavy Intrepid started to swing around. I built up momentum as I slid sideways down the ice patch. I could not regain control of the car. I slid off the street and hit a utility poll knocking down the power lines. Both of my airbags deployed. I think the car is totaled.

Thats when I felt the blood start to trickle down my face. When I looked in the mirror I had blood pouring down my forehead and from my nose. My jacket was so covered it looked like I had murdered someone!

After the ambulance got there, they couldn't approach the car until the utility company showed up to make sure the power lines weren't still energized. They finally got to me and made sure I didn't have any back or neck injuries before they got me out of the car.
I was taken to the ER where I got five stitches in my forehead right below my hair line and I've been told to watch for signs of concussion for the next 24 hours.

In conclusion, class, BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!
