Goodbye to those mysoginistic attitudes of the musicians I met. It was nice to be a female guitarist during that whole grunge/punk era. No other time afforded real compliments for a female guitar player, so Nevermind and the whole good guy bands like those were a real inspiration for me. Metal guys never like female guitar players unless we crawl on glass on our hands and knees and kiss their asses. I'm just not good at kissing ass, so punk/grunge is it for me.
