59. It won't do anything that wasn't there in the first place
It amplifies everything, the good and the bad. If you have a strong ego, which is not to say you're an egotist but rather have confidence in yourself, then you do allright.

I had about 50 "excursions" - all of them quite pleasant

There were times when all I could say to describe it was that everything had an edge - like broken glass, but in a positive way....

There was a time, during Halloween, when I threw a sheet over my head, did not cut out eye holes, and walked all over the Knox College Campus, going from party to party just trusting the force. Wound up alive at least.......

I performed the role of Prospero (a really big Shakesperian role) in "The Tempest" during a dress rehearsal at the tail end of a trip - I wasn't the only one in the cast doing so. I didn't drop a line, but the Director told us that the performance was "way too fast"

You could also drink a case of beer and not feel any effect - until the next day....which brings us to the "Cosmic Hangover"

The Cosmic Hangover is to be treasured.......it doesn't hurt and you aren't nauseous...I took a 10 hour shower during one cosmic hangover. Usually the day after was a time for reflection and Budweiser.......

I find that the main effect some 25 years later is overuse of ellipses..........................................

Oh, and I think I had a flasback at Chuck E. Cheese once, but that's another story...................
