What is it about men and toilets?

This is a rather delicate subject, but one I am seriously ignorant about. I am recently
married and my husband moved in with me. The toilet is sort of sequestered in a nook in
the bathroom. The area reeks of a urine smell. I clean the toilet, the floor and the walls,
and two days later it reeks again. What is it with men? They can't hit the bowl or what?

I mentioned it to my husband and he was highly incensed. He said it was probably me. I said
"I sit."

Is this just something I should accept and wash the bathroom every day?

Ironically, I have another bathroom, but it's dedicated to my cat's litter box. Maybe I should
ask my husband to use that.
