68. Nope, the face will change, but the idea will stay
The manifestation of that belief will continue to change, but no, God is here to stay, even if we gain immortality.

I'm in a mixed marriage, Presbyterian and Reform Jew. Folks asked us in which religion we would raise our Children. I answered, "American Materialism, of course" They thought I was making a joke......

For a long time, my religion was "Deadhead"..I regularly participated in mass organized rituals where we would sing and dance under the guidance of an anointed priesthood which was supported financially by the adherents. I certainly derived an ethos from the songs of the Grateful Dead and applied that ethos to my everyday life. What was missing was an historical, personal Deity - well, I didn't miss it.

Jesus is reported to have said, "you cannot serve two Masters, God and Money" Now, you tell me which of these Masters most of us here in the USA serve....

If you can describe a religion as that thing which you primarily "have your mind set on" then my religion is my wife and kids...

If you describe God as the Supreme Being, then I would have to say that I believe in God and that how I try to understand God is through the monotheistic Semite God embraced by Judaism, its offshoot Christianity and Islam.
