31. Well guess what! I wasn't suppose to have the red light. Someone brought
to the party and the rest is James Brown History!

I have to get the red carpet out for my sister and best friend. Cally, I just can't IMAGINE you at a red light party! OK, I know, we were both teens at onetime and the 60's was just so "red light", using that symbolism in many ways. So we can both ease on down the red carpet together dancing to the tunes of James Brown!

I would love to someday visit Istanbul. That would be a dream. I have always wanted to visit Turkey but that opportunity has not yet presented itself. As I am getting older, I'm going to start traveling more. I have *not* been on a plane since 9-11. I had a personal experience that day and I'm not sure I have moved past the horror. Someone told me the other day when it's your time to go, time is up. I agree with that thinking. When I was younger, I would wake up and decide to go to Mexico, or LA, or Jamaica or Boston. I have always loved spontaneous travel. So perhaps one day I'll wake up and decide to go to Istanbul.

For Thanksgiving your visiting your sister in LA. Have a safe trip Cally.

I found a picture of Bette's Oceanview Diner in Berkeley. Is this your favorite chocolate chip cookie spot?

Have a happy Thanksgiving Sis.

Love,

Mina :loveya:
