The "natural environment" doesn't seem to be sparking anything for anyone these days. No one I know my age has found anyone through natural means since college. Occasionally, someone will go on a date from work, but being that office romance doesn't work out, it doesn't. As I've said above with the whole volunteer groups/church type thing, people my age just don't seem to participate. Everyone's got their jobs, their friends, and don't have much time to do those types of things. At least not around here.

But the artificial environment really isn't all that bad. For one, you already know what someone's intentions are when you meet them. That eliminates all sorts of miscommunications and games immediately, so that much pressure is off.
