a B-25 is not a small plane.

I suppose they assumed something on the order of the small plane that crashed into the Empire State Building in the 1940s, damaging a couple of floors but not causing any structural damage

Killed 14 people (3 in the plane and 11 in the building) and made a big honkin hole in the 79th floor.
