It's funny. I love the scene where he goes to rescue his daughter from the evil terrorists and she looks up as he is using a plane to rescue her from a skyscraper and says "Daddy!". Arabs were really pissed off about this movie, because the terrorists were arabs (although so was one of the guys sent to save his kid).
