21. on the one hand,
the thought repulses me. i don't want my nakedness to be publicly visible; and most people are not that attractive even with most of their unsightly areas covered up. furthermore, i don't necessarily want to see attractive people naked either (unless they're my sweetie!) because they might make me feel inadequate.

that said, i think it might be a good thing for people (like me) to get over their hangups. get over their shame. when i'm with my sweetie (who is gorgeous, by the way) and we see some fat person in a skimpy outfit, she will often say, "That person should cover up." while i am more likely to think, "Good for that person, it must take a lot of courage to
be ugly and yet self-accepting."

i think society needs to be more accepting of imperfect bodies.

all in all, though, i think practicality trumps the other considerations. clothing is a good idea not only for modesty, but for warmth, for protection from ultraviolet rays, and for protection against injuries in case of accident. oh, and protection against insects.
