6. Interviews are not about you revealing your strengths...
...and the interviewer who asked you that is a lazy, unscrupulous fuck.

I don't know how appealing the job is, but now that you've experienced the company's hiring methods, you need to seriously consider how much working there means to you.

It IS common to ask people to outline their strengths...it's a psychological game. As soon as you respond to that, they move in with the "what are some of your weaknesses," no matter how well they cloak the question.

If you read the career advice on sites like Career Builder and Monster, you NEVER should reply with "My weaknesses are..."

Rather, you say that you are a work in progress and you are learning new skills and improving yourself daily, and then shift the focus back to what you do for them.

It's a lot more complicated than that...I just gave you the short version...but yeah, that was an unfair and unprofessional question.
