Richie Havens' 3-hour set would have been AWESOME.

Also, Hüsker Dü's farewell show at Minneapolis' 1st Ave in 1987 would have kicked ass, too. I almost went, but couldn't get the $$ together at the last minute (I was a broke college freshman at the time).

However, I did get to see My Bloody Valentine on the "Loveless" tour and sat through all 35 minutes of "You Made Me Realise" only 15 feet from the main PA stack. I didn't hear straight for three days afterward.

Interesting you said Syd-era Pink Floyd. I'm been grooving on "Lucifer Sam" the last few days-- it's gone from earworm to obsession.
